Sean Sturrock

Sean     I started Cub Scouts just as I turned 10 years old. After 3 months I earned the Arrow of Light and bridged into Troop 209 as a Boy Scout. Achieving the rank an Eagle Scout has been my dream from the very beginning.  I worked at it for almost 6 years, and made Eagle one month after I turned 16. Thank you Troop 209, present and past Scouts and Leaders! Eagle Scout  Sean Sturrock     Eagle Scout Rank   February 26, 2009My Eagle Project: Created an outdoor courtyard for special needs students at Luther Burbank Middle School. We installed three concrete anchors into the ground that two tables are secured to. We planted dozens of shrubs and two trees around them creating a semi closed off space for students to work outside. The courtyard is very popular, providing a daily outlet for special needs students to get out of their classroom and be outside, while still within viewing distance of the teacher and classroom.
